We thought layers, and particles. And this was the winning design, layers made of particles in different colors to represent the different layers in soil[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]

The brief was to incorporate tech and informality, we presented some really fun logos, but this was the chosen logo. We used bright bold, highly saturated colors to keep the logo a little bit more informal.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]

We had to come to a compromise between what is scientifically acceptable (the main circle area of the logo is based on a plasmid map) and what is visually beautiful. The brief was simple, they wanted a bold, fashion style logo with a subtle water element. The brief was for a logo to be used on an app that finds cool, local shops and markets, and lets you know where they are. Our client gave us a lot of free reign over the creativity, and their style was right up our street.
